CHURCH STRUCTURE:

Under Presbyterian organisation, Murrayfield Parish Church is led by the members of the congregation. Under this form of governance the affairsof the local congregation are governed by a Kirk Session, comprising Elders ordained for life from within the membership and by a Congregational Board of members elected at the AGM for a three year period, with an equal number of Elders.

Kirk Session Committees include Worship, Global Care, Social Care and Christian Development.

Congregational Board Committees include Finance, Fabric and Hospitality and Events. The minister of the church serves as the moderator of both the Kirk Session and the Congregational Board. The joint Session Clerks are Jane Smart and David Marwick.
