MURRAYFIELD CHURCHES TOGETHER

Murrayfield Churches together (MCT) member churches are:

Church of the Good Shepherd (Scottish Episcopal Church)

Murrayfield Parish Church (Church of Scotland)

Saughtonhall United Reformed Church

The Murrayfield Local Ecumenical Project was formally constituted on 4th October 1987, but like many other developments of significance, its history did not start then. Twenty years before, the ministers of Murrayfield Parish Church, the Church of the Good Shepherd and Saughtonhall Congregational Church decided to worship together on Good Friday and share the passion of Christ’s crucifixion. The project was renewed in 1994 for a second seven year commitment and again in 2001 and 2008.

For full details of the work of Murrayfield Churches Together and joint worship services please see www.mct.org.uk
